If you’re unable to secure a permit for the classic Inca Trail, there are alternative treks in the Sacred Valley, such as the Salkantay Trek or the Lares Trek, Choquequirao Trek, Moonstone trek, Ancasqocha Trek, Ausangate Trek,  that offer beautiful scenery and cultural experiences.

7. Regulations and Restrictions:

While on the Inca Trail, there are regulations in place to protect the environment and preserve the historical site. These include guidelines on waste disposal, camping locations, and group sizes. Trekkers are expected to follow these rules to ensure the sustainability of the trail.
