Day 1 – Welcome to Coporaque • Cultural Experience • Hot Springs • Homestay

1:30 PM – Arrival in Coporaque (3,575 m / 11,729 ft)

Upon arrival, you'll receive a warm welcome from your local host family before settling into your comfortable homestay. Enjoy a traditional homemade lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients from the Colca Valley.

After lunch, begin an authentic cultural experience through the beautiful Andean countryside.

Walking Experience to Sallihua Hot Springs

Enjoy an easy scenic walk of approximately 45 minutes along ancient trails surrounded by spectacular landscapes and centuries-old pre-Inca agricultural terraces.

During the walk you'll discover:

Visit the charming colonial village of Yanque, famous for its beautiful church, traditional architecture, and panoramic mountain scenery.

Maca

Continue to the picturesque village of Maca, where you'll discover colonial history, colorful handicraft markets, and impressive viewpoints overlooking the canyon.

Condor Viewpoint (Cruz del Cóndor)

Arrive at the world-famous Cruz del Cóndor, the best location in South America to observe the magnificent Andean Condor soaring above one of the deepest canyons on Earth.
