Day 2: Wayllabamba – Dead Woman's Pass – Pacaymayo

Day 2 is the most demanding section of the Classic Inca Trail. After breakfast, we begin the steady ascent toward Warmiwañusca, known as Dead Woman's Pass, the highest point of the trek at 4,215 meters (13,828 feet).

The climb is challenging, but the changing landscapes make this one of the most memorable sections of the route. From the high Andean grasslands, the trail descends toward the Pacaymayo Valley, where we spend the night.

Your guide will set a comfortable pace and provide support throughout the ascent and descent.
